  • What are the hours of the Kids Club?
    During the summer holidays (July - August), the Mini-Club is open from 10am to 12pm. We offer craft workshops, colouring, challenges and mini-games that will allow your children to familiarise themselves with others.
  • How far from the beach is La Michelière?
    The campsite is 2 km from the beach and is accessible via a cycle path.
  • How far from St Gilles Croix de Vie is La Michelière?
    The campsite is 2 km from St Gilles Croix de Vie and 3.5 km from the pedestrian streets.
  • Do you have a good restaurant address in Saint-Gilles-Croix-De-Vie?
    We can advise you the restaurant le Charlotin which is located on the port of St Gilles Croix de Vie and the Playa which is located on the embankment of St Gilles Croix de Vie.
  • How far from the campsite are the cycle tracks?
    There is a cycle track that starts directly from the campsite. This allows you to reach the beach in 10 minutes and the centre of St Gilles Croix de Vie in 15 minutes.
    From this track, you can access the cycle tracks that run along the Vendean coast and enjoy the beautiful scenery.
  • Opening dates of Domaine de la Michelière ?
    The campsite will welcome you from Saturday 4 April 2020 until Saturday 26 September 2020.
    For owners of mobile homes, the campsite will welcome you from Sunday 1 March 2020 to Monday 30 November 2020.
    The rest of the year, only the offices remain open.
  • Opening hours of the reception of Domaine de la Michelière ?
    In low season, the reception is open :
    - from Monday to Sunday from 9:30 to 12:30 and from 14:30 to 18:30,
    In season (July-August) :
    - the reception is open from 9am to 1pm and from 2pm to 7pm.
  • Opening hours of the access gate to La Michelière ?
    In order to preserve everyone's peace and quiet during the night, the gates are closed from 11.30 pm to 7.00 am.
    For any vital emergency during the night, please contact reception on to open the barrier.
  • Which barbecues are authorised?
    Only gas and electric barbecues are allowed on the campsite. Other types of barbecues are strictly forbidden.
    Electric planchas can be rented at the reception desk according to availability (3€ for half a day and 5€ for a full day).
  • Is linen provided in the rentals?
    In the mobile homes, disposable mattresses are provided, as well as blankets. In addition, we offer disposable sheet kits (sheet for single bed: 6 € and sheet for double bed: 8 €).
    Pillows are provided in the rentals. You must bring your own towels.
  • What electrical outlets are available in the rental units and pitches?
    They are only French sockets, in both cases.
    For pitches with electricity, you must provide a European plug and an extension cord of at least 25 metres in order to be able to plug in.
  • Do all pitches have direct access to water?
    No, you have a tap for 6 pitches, and the campsite has three toilet blocks all equipped with disabled toilets.
  • Are showers included in the price of the pitch?
    The price of the pitch includes water, so there is no extra charge for showers.
  • What is the exposure of the pitches?
    The pitches are all sunny.
  • How many cars are allowed per pitch?
    Only one car is allowed per pitch. A second car can be allowed at an additional cost of 1.50 €/night depending on the size of the pitch.
    On arrival, a barrier code will be given to you at the reception desk which will allow you to enter or leave the site.
    However, there is a free car park in front of the campsite.
  • Are swimming shorts allowed in the aquatic area?
    Swimming shorts are strictly forbidden, only bathing suits are allowed.
  • Does my child have to be accompanied in the aquatic area?
    Children who cannot swim must always be accompanied by a responsible adult and must wear armbands, floatation belts or other devices.
  • Are wristbands to be worn in the pool area?
    Wristbands must be worn in the aquatic area.
  • Is there a children's playground on the campsite?
    The campsite has a children's playground close to the multi-sports ground, the bar and the swimming pool.
  • How do I get to the campsite after closing time?
    It is possible to arrive after the reception is closed. Just call us before your arrival so that we can explain to you the procedure to follow.
    If necessary, call, a person present on the site will answer you.
  • Is there internet access on the campsite?
    Wifi is accessible from the mobile homes and pitches. A code will be given to you at the reception (service paying 3 € per day and 14 € per week).
  • Do the mobile homes have television?
    All mobile homes are equipped with television.
  • Is it possible to rent a baby kit?
    You can rent a baby bed (2 € per day and 14 € per week) and a high chair (1 € per day and 7 € per week).
  • Is it possible to buy bread or pastries on the campsite?
    In July and August, every day you can buy bread and pastries, you just have to order them the day before.
  • Can we receive mail or parcels during our stay?
    It is indeed possible to receive your mail. You will find it in the grey plastic cupboard in front of the reception desk (it is sorted alphabetically).
    If you receive any parcels that you will pick up at the reception desk, we will ask you to show your identity card in exchange for it.
  • What are the conditions for cancelling my stay?
    No refund of the sums paid will be possible if you do not subscribe to the Cancellation Insurance package. We strongly invite you to take out the CAMPEZ-COUVERT cancellation insurance guarantee of 4% of the amount of the stay (excluding reservation fees and tourist taxes). The amount of the CAMPEZ-COUVERT cancellation insurance guarantee must be paid in full at the time of booking and is non-refundable. The complete general terms and conditions of cancellation are available on request or can be consulted online at In case of cancellation or interruption of the stay without the subscription of the cancellation insurance guarantee CAMPEZ-COUVERT, the campsite cannot be held responsible. As a result, this will not give rise to any reimbursement from the campsite.
